Vice President Sales
As Vice President of Sales, Nate Phippen oversees all sales and marketing efforts for Wirtz Beverage Wisconsin.
Nate is a 20-year veteran of the beverage business. He has been with the Wirtz Beverage organization for over 10 years, holding multiple leadership positions. Now serving as the Vice President of Sales for the State of Wisconsin, the Wirtz Family’s first wholesale wine and spirits company purchased by Arthur Wirtz in 1945.
Nate previously worked as a Vice President of Sales at Wirtz Beverage Illinois. There, he led multiple selling divisions through new route to market strategies and was responsible for their consistent performance and marked growth.
He majored in Economics at Northern Illinois University, where he was a member of the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity.
Strategic Partnership Leader
In his role as Strategic Partnership Leader, Mark Cirillo commits his expertise to growth and strategic partnership opportunities with both suppliers and customers statewide.
With over 30 years in the total beverage alcohol industry, Mark previously served as a Sales Consultant, Wine Specialist, On-Premise Sales Manager, Director of Sales, and Vice President of Sales before taking on his current role as Strategic Partnership Leader.
Director, Trade Development
In his role as Director of Trade Development, Pete Strom has been instrumental in the implementation of the Trade Development Model at Wirtz Beverage Wisconsin.
In his many years with Wirtz, Pete has garnered awards for sales execution and growth as both General Manager and Sales Consultant. While serving as General Manager of Wirtz Beverage in Madison, his development of supplier relationships led to over 500% sales growth in Madison. Pete has also been an asset in acquiring state-wide portfolios and brands for numerous suppliers, including: William Grant, Constellation, Proximo, Infinium, Ketel One, Rodney Strong, and Antares.
Pete graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater, with a degree in Marketing.
