Senior Vice President
As Senior Vice President of Wirtz Beverage Nevada, Scott Blazek oversees the company’s Las Vegas and Reno operations.
A 20-year veteran of the beverage industry, Scott is responsible for bringing strategic direction and focus to Nevada’s sales and marketing teams. In addition, Scott manages the company’s brand portfolio with a commitment to expand its statewide reach while continuing to grow market share with the existing Wirtz Beverage customer base. His career has been defined by his ability to create strategic partnerships at the supplier and account level, as well as his aptitude for building high-performing teams that are able to continuously deliver flawless execution in the marketplace.
Scott joined Wirtz Beverage Group from Heineken USA where he was the National Senior Vice President of Sales. Prior to joining Heineken, Scott spent 10 years at Diageo, serving in a number of capacities, gaining a wide array of experience with increasing responsibility across all three portfolios, including beer, wine and spirits.
He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University as well as an MBA recipient form St. Joseph’s University – Haub School of Business.
Vice President, Wine & Spirits Sales
Having worked with Wirtz Beverage Group for the past 11 years, Rich Espe is currently serving as Vice President of Sales Wine and Spirits in Nevada. Previously, Rich was the Channel Sales Planner for Wirtz Beverage Illinois.
Rich has an experienced background in the food and beverage industry. Previously, he was the Wine Marketing Manager for Hamburg Distributing and was General Manager for several nightclubs and restaurants in Illinois.
Director, Human Resources
In her role as Director of Human Resources for Wirtz Beverage Nevada, Cynthia Cameron has improved employee engagement, restructured the foundation and processes, upgraded recruitment and onboarding, initiated Military recruitment, and has worked to create numerous community initiatives.
Previously, Cynthia served as the Vice President of Human Resources facilitating the branding transition from Hotel San Remo to Hooters Casino Hotel. While there, she tripled the workforce, taking it from 500 to 1550 employees; implemented Hooters recruiting, training, culture and diversity programs; designed an all new benefits and compensation plan; and oversaw daily human resources operations.
Cynthia is on the Board of Directors of the “I Have a Dream Foundation, Nevada Chapter” which provides advanced education, mentoring, and training opportunities to disadvantaged youth; National Member of the International Association of Working Mothers; and is a Chamber of Commerce Leadership Las Vegas Graduate. She is also the recipient of numerous community service awards and commendations; and in 2000 received a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the National Society of Human Resource Management. m the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Director, External Affairs & Community Development
In his position as Director of External Affairs and Community Development, Bart Masi oversees the continuing development and strengthening of the Wirtz brand while protecting against any industry threats and leading in all government and community affairs in Nevada. A native of Chicago, Bart was Jesuit educated at Saint Ignatius High School and Loyola University. His career in the industry began as a sales representative with Best Brands (Miller High Life Beer) while going to John Marshall Law School at night.
Bart has been a member of the beverage alcohol industry for over 46 years and a resident of Las Vegas for almost 40 years. He has been on both the supplier and distributor sides and has been with the Wirtz Beverage Nevada team for the last 13 years. His past responsibilities have included Director of Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations.
With Bart’s long established relationships and reputation, he is an active participant for the Wirtz Beverage Group’s commitment to all educational, philanthropic, cultural and political initiatives in the state of Nevada.
Director, Warehouse Operations & Supply
Kyle Bohan has been with the Wirtz organization for over 12 years. In his current role as Director of Warehouse Operations for Wirtz Beverage Nevada, he provides innovative solutions for enhancing operational methods while increasing efficiencies and improving customer service.
Kyle joined the organization in 2001 and since has provided valuable leadership for the state of Nevada Operations. Kyle was instrumental in facilitating both the Las Vegas Facility and in taking the lead on starting up the Northern Nevada operations in 2006. Kyle has implemented four Warehouse Management Systems throughout the Wirtz Beverage network. In 2011, he collaborated with Wirtz Beverage Wisconsin on the design, implementation, move and startup of their new state-of-the-art-facility in Hartland, Wisconsin.
Kyle has over 20 years of experience in warehousing, distribution and order fulfillment in industries such as wire and cable, consumer retail products and educational materials.
Kyle majored in organizational leadership at Purdue University and achieved a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2010. He received the inaugural Ray Norvell leadership award for the state of Nevada in 2012 and the Arthur M. Wirtz award in 2013.
Vice President, Beer Sales
As Vice President of Beer Sales for Wirtz Beverage Nevada, Deacon Nauslar is responsible for inspiring a team of over one hundred professionals and ensuring the satisfaction our suppliers and customers. The Director of Sales and Director of Trade Development report directly to Deacon, who brings with him 30+ years of experience in the Beverage Industry.
Deacon joined Wirtz from Bay Area Beverage, where he served as Vice President of Sales. Prior to joining Bay Area Beverage, Deacon spent over two decades serving in a number of capacities at companies such as Glazer’s, Crest Beverage Company and Coors Brewing Company. Deacon brings with him a deep love for the beer business, stemming from this passion for the culture of this category and his commitment, as a distributor, to execution.
