Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing
David Lockie serves as a Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Wirtz Beverage Illinois and Minnesota. He also jointly oversees the company’s interests within JBW Group of Iowa. David is a seasoned leader with nearly 30 years of industry experience.
In his current role, he drives the Wirtz Beverage culture of execution across states through all aspects of sales including planning, implementation, measurement, integration and innovation strategies. His commitment to leadership and vision has successfully contributed to overall company objectives by continually surpassing key revenue and account goals. David also plays a leadership and mentorship role for the company’s sales consultants.
Prior to joining Wirtz Beverage, David served as President of Union Beverage of Illinois where he oversaw the sales of the company’s leading wine divisions. His experience also includes tenures as Vice President of Wine, Sales and Marketing with Glazer’s of Illinois, managing the company’s wine portfolio on a statewide basis as well as Midwest and Mid-Central Division manager of E&J Gallo Winery where he oversaw execution of Gallo’s retail programming and brand standards in each of the respective regions.
Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Brad Redenius leads the Wirtz Beverage Minnesota sales and trade development teams in all sales functions for beer, wine, and spirits.
As a veteran of the beverage alcohol industry, Brad worked in retail during high school and college and joined the wholesale industry in 1985 with Continental Distributing Company in Chicago. He held numerous sales and management roles with Continental. In 1993, he relocated to Peoria and served as General Manager of Midwest Distributing which became Judge & Dolph’ s central Illinois operation in 1996. During his 13 years in Peoria, he led the company through several mergers and acquisitions including Midwest Distributing, Quality House, Kankakee Distributing in Kankakee and Champaign, along with E & F Distributing’s wine and spirits business. In addition, he led the integration of multiple suppliers into Judge & Dolph Peoria as they consolidated with Wirtz in Illinois.
Supported by Wirtz leadership and the Wirtz Beverage tuition assistance plan, Brad earned his Master of Business Administration from Washington University, St. Louis in 2005. Brad was promoted to Vice President General Manager of Wirtz Beverage Minnesota and relocated to St. Paul in 2007 and is now Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Minnesota.
Director of Training
In his role as Director of Training, Sam Bremer leads the training and development efforts for Wirtz Beverage Minnesota’s wine, spirit, and beer divisions. Sam joined Wirtz Beverage Minnesota in 2009 as a Luxury Brand Specialist working to grow the fine wine and spirit portfolios. He also has experience leading the beer division as Director of Sales.
Prior to Joining Wirtz, Sam worked in the restaurant business for over 10 years in roles ranging from Mixologist, Chef, Sommelier, General Manager, to Director of Franchise Operations.
Sam is passionate about the food and beverage industry and has accreditations as a Certified Sommelier, Certified Beer Server, and Top Graduate and Taster at the Kobrand International Wine Seminar.
Director of Sales, Beer
John Considine is the Director of Sales - Beer for Wirtz Beverage Minnesota. He brings to this role 25 years of experience in the industry.
Previously, John served as Director of Commercial Planning Systems and Director of Commercial Capabilities for Diageo North America. There, he collaborated with the DIAGEO Business Analytics Team to introduce and implement a new Commercial Planning Tool and with the DIAGEO in-market business units to develop and manage a Distributor Management Capability Assessment Tool.
He also has experience working with Guinness USA as the business liaison with DIAGEOs Global Capability Team where he introduced and managed the Diageo Ways of Brand Building with Customers program within the Guinness USA business.
John has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Marketing from Creighton University.
Director of Trade Development
Sam Anderson rejoined Wirtz Beverage MN in 2013 as Director of Trade Development, previously holding the Spirits Brand Manager position.
He brings over 25 years of sales and marketing expertise working with such prestigious companies as Diageo, Brown Forman, Coca-Cola, and Kellogg.
Sam has a Bachelor of Arts from Bowling Green State University and his MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, he has a Master Certification in Organizational Leadership from Villanova University.

Director of Sales, Wine & Spirits
As a veteran of the beverage alcohol industry for 15 years, Lorne oversees the following teams as Director of Sales, Spirits: The Premier Team - Spirits Dedicated Off-Premise Metro, The Heartland Team – Full Book On- and Off-premise along with The Total Beverage Alcohol Off-Premise Team Metro focused on the C/D Channel of business.
Lorne has been part of Wirtz Beverage Minnesota since October, 2008. Prior to coming to Wirtz, he held supplier management roles with Kendall- Jackson Wine Estates, Campari USA and Bacardi USA. His combined supplier and wholesaler experience has been an asset in leading our business.
Lorne earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Sacramento State University in California. Prior to his college studies, he served in the United States Marine Corps as a Physical Fitness and Tactics Instructor at the Office Candidates School in Quantico, Virginia.
